Co-chairs, Steve Hobson and Dale Frey, are finalizing plans for the second annual Chrome & Ice™ Indoor Car Show, brought to you by Back to the Bricks™, Buick, and the Genesee County Agents for the Farm Bureau of Michigan. The theme for Chrome & Ice™ 2017 is MORE, more space, more cars, more vendors, and more entertainment! This year’s show will feature over one-hundred vehicles, approximately forty-five sponsor and vendor displays, and will occupy the upper mezzanine of the main arena, the main lobby, and the corridor between the two arenas.
New to Chrome & Ice™ 2017 is the addition of a Preview Party on Thursday, February 9th, sponsored by Back to the Bricks™, Buick, and ABCTV-12. Party goers will get a “sneak peak” of the show cars in the Upper Mezzanine of the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center, hors d’oeurves “plus,” adult beverages, entertainment, and more. Proceeds from this premiere event will raise funds to support HOT ROD HIGH™ and the BttB career education/scholarship program. The cost of tickets for this fund raiser is $35.00 per person with 100% of the profit going to HRH™. Tickets for the Preview Party can be purchased online via PayPal, credit card, or by mail. Winter storm advisories and warnings may be in the forecast, but spring and summer will be here before you know it. Rhonda Rau, co-chair Pete Cimbala, and the Committee are hard at work on the 8th Annual “Heritage” Promo Tour. 
This year’s tour promises to be the best ever with more than 220 cars, plenty of fun and camaraderie with approximately 450 fellow car enthusiasts, five new cities, “freebies” and more. It’s not too early to register for the tour, and reserve your rooms.
Keeping it short this month as I’m fighting a winter cold, but looking forward to all of the exciting Back to the Bricks™ future events, the Preview Party,Thursday, February 9, 2017, Chrome & Ice™ 2017 on February 10-11, and the “Heritage” Promo Tour in June.
